ADC's 87th Annual Awards Gala was on Thursday, May 1, 2008. This year's winners were revealed and celebrated at the ADC Gallery! THE AWARDS
ADC Cubes, ADC Hybrid and ADC Design Sphere are symbols of high creative achievement. They're not easy to come by, either -- our juries are among the most discriminating - winning a Gold or Silver cube is a true accomplishment.

There is no limit to the number of winners in any given category, nor is there a minimum number required. For Advertising, Interactive Advertising, Playground and ADC Hybrid medalists, two complimentary cubes will be presented to the primary Art Director and Copywriter. For Design, Design Interactive and ADC Design Sphere one cube will be presented to the primary Art Director or Designer. For the Photography and Illustration categories within Design, cubes will be awarded only to the Photographer or Illustrator. Additional cubes may be purchased for team members, collaborating creatives and clients.

NOTIFICATION AND MATERIALS
Winners will be notified in April 2008. All other entrants will be notified as soon as possible. Please do not call. Winners will be asked to verify credits for winning entries, send digital files for the Art Directors Annual 87, send additional materials for the New York and Traveling Exhibitions, and anything required for our archive.

THE PUBLICITY
Annual Awards winners will be posted on the ADC website, at www.adcglobal.org, in May 2008. Announcements of the winners will appear in national and international advertising and design publications, both in print and online versions.

THE GALA AND NYC EXHIBITION
Winners will be honored at a Gala Awards Evening in New York in the spring of 2008, which will include a champagne reception and exhibition preview, multimedia presentation, buffet dinner and celebration. All entrants, judges, ADC members and friends are invited to attend this special event. The exhibition will be on view Summer 2008, inspiring students, professionals and others interested in great advertising and design.

THE ART DIRECTORS ANNUAL
Continuously published since 1920, The Art Directors Annual is the world’s most widely distributed creative awards reference book and source of inspiration. Every winning entry is reproduced in full-color with complete credits in a 500-page hardcover. The Art Directors Annual 87 will be available in December 2008.

THE TRAVELING EXHIBITION
Duplicate exhibitions will travel to corporate and municipal galleries and universities throughout the world in the following year. (Those interested in arranging venues may contact Jeff Harmon at jeff@adcglobal.org).
