Below are instructions for the required winner materials. Gala Materials are required for all Gold, Silver, and ADC Hybrid winners for the upcoming Gala on May 10, 2011. ADC Bronze Cube and Merit winners will only be announced at the Gala and credits will be displayed. Annual Materials are necessary for all winners for publication in the Art Directors Annual 90. Exhibition Materials are used for both the ADC Gallery and International Exhibitions. We will also showcase your work online in the ADC digital archive. Merit winners will be featured exclusively in the Art Directors Annual 90 and in the ADC digital archive. Please note that ALL winners are required to submit headshot(s) of the winning team.

Materials Needed for April 11th
- 2 Headshots
- 6 to 10 Hi-Res Photos of your project
- A 15 Second Acceptance Speech
- Broadcast winners must submit a 45 second recap video


If you are unable to upload files as instructed, please burn them to a CD or DVD and enclose with your Exhibition Materials.

ADC HYBRID, INTEGRATED & BROADCAST ADVERTISING (Merit winners need to submit Annual Materials only.)
Gala Materials:

1. Please upload (or send in a CD or DVD) a 45-second to 1-minute video (640 x 480 QuickTime H.264 compression) detailing the project. If your video is over the 1-minute requirement, then a JPEG will be shown for your work instead of a video. This video should visually exhibit all components of the project, and must also describe target audience, strategy, execution and objective. An on-screen or voiceover narration is recommended. Be creative, as well as comprehensive.
   

Annual Materials:

1. Upload up to 10 images. Required specs: 8.5 x 11”/A-4 images at 300dpi (approximately 2500 x 3300 pixels), CMYK or RGB, encoded as high-quality JPG or PNG.
   

Exhibition Materials:

1. We will use the same materials you provide for the Gala for the Exhibition. *If applicable, please also send 3 copies of up to 3 representative supplemental print or supplemental 3-D components, to augment the Exhibition Reel(s) for the ADC and Traveling Exhibitions.
   

BROADCAST / INTERACTIVE MOVIE FILES (Merit winners need to submit Annual Materials only.)
Gala Materials:

1. Please upload (or send in a CD or DVD) a 45-second to 1-minute video (640 x 480 QuickTime H.264 compression) detailing the project.
   

Annual Materials:

1. Upload up to 4 images max for single entries (or 4 for each spot in a campaign entry - 12 images max). Required specs: 8.5 x 11”/A-4 images at 300dpi (approximately 2500 x 3300 pixels), CMYK or RGB, encoded as high-quality JPG or PNG.
   
2. We will use printed scripts for the Annual. Please upload this as an abridged Word document (maximum 150 words per script) in the traditional 2-column script format, with copy in the left column and dialogue in the right. If you have a campaign, include all scripts in one Word document. Go to the “Upload Digital Files” page to upload your script.
   

Exhibition Materials:

1. We will use the same materials you provide for the Gala for the Exhibition.
   

DESIGN / PHOTOGRAPHY / ILLUSTRATION (Merit winners need to submit Annual Materials only.)
Gala Materials / Annual Files:

1. Campaign entries: Upload 1 image for each piece - max. 5 images total.
   
2. Single entries consisting of one page (i.e. poster, postcard, book jacket): Upload 1 image.
   • Entries consisting of multiple pages (i.e., books, full magazine issues, brochures, etc.): Upload up to 6 images per piece. If applicable, upload 1 image of cover/outside, and 5 additional images of inside pages/spreads.
   • Corporate and Promotional Design: Upload 1 image/photograph of the entire set.
   • Package / Product Design: Upload 1 image of each piece or 1 image/photograph of the entire series.
   • Environmental Design: Upload up to 10 images per entry, showing different viewpoints and angles. OR for the Gala, you may submit a 45-second to 1-minute video (640 x 480 QuickTime H.264 compression) on a CD or DVD detailing the project. This video should visually exhibit all components of the project, and must also describe target audience, strategy, execution and objective. An on-screen or voiceover narration is recommended.

2. For any 3-D components, for example, PACKAGE/PRODUCT Design and BOOK Design, please send in 1 copy of each item. For BOOK JACKETS and MAGAZINE FULL ISSUE, please send in entire book or magazine. For CORPORATE and PROMOTIONAL Design that involves smaller, loose components, please mount these items on white foam board as instructed below.

Exhibition Materials:

1. Entries in these categories will be viewed on a kiosk.
2. For those who submitted URLs/live websites, please upload a localized version of your website(s) or a video overview of the site(s). Include any plug-ins, resources, or special requirements along with your submission:
   • Create a folder with all the files and subfolders included.
   • Create a ZIP or Stuffit Archive file of the folder.
   • Save as a ZIP or Stuffit Archive file. Example: entryID.zip, or entryID.sit or
