Tim Hetherington is photographer and filmmaker who has reported on conflict and social issues for over ten years. His interest lies in creating diverse forms of visual communication from long-term projects and his work has ranged from digital projections at the Institute of Contemporary Art in London, to fly-poster exhibitions in Lagos, to handheld device downloads. He is the recipient of numerous awards - most recently the Grand Jury Prize at this years Sundance Film Festival for his documentary Restrepo. He is based in New York and is a contributing photographer for Vanity Fair magazine.
