Louis Gagnon co-founded Paprika in 1991. Since then, Gagnon’s relentless pursuit of essence, refinement and beauty has racked up more than 500 national and international awards for the Montreal design firm. Gagnon’s style is characterized by stunning graphic themes balanced by a clear rationality that fuses innate elegance to intelligent utility.
Paprika was the first North American agency featured in a Design & Designers book, a prestige collection that profiles the most influential figures in international design (Pyramyd Publishers, Paris). And there is a show in Paris (spring 2010) that will be devoted to the Paprika oeuvre. Louis Gagnon has taught at the École de design at the Université du Québec à Montréal since 2005.
